Art Explorer

Terms of Service

Effective June 4, 2026

Acceptance of terms

Art Explorer (the "Service") is provided by Intrinsent LLC("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

Art Explorer is a free ChatGPT app that helps you search for and view paintings sourced from open cultural databases. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.

Art Explorer is accessed through ChatGPT. Your use of ChatGPT is additionally governed by OpenAI's applicable terms and policies, which are separate from these terms.

Content and licensing

Artwork images, descriptions, and facts presented in the Service are sourced from Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikidata. That content is owned by its respective creators and rights holders and is made available under public-domain dedications or Creative Commons licenses.

We do not claim ownership of this third-party content. Your use of any artwork or text is subject to the applicable license and attribution requirements indicated for each work. The Service surfaces the creator, license, and a link to the original source to support proper attribution.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, access it through automated abuse, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Third-party content disclaimer

Content is drawn from independent third-party sources that we do not control. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any artwork, description, or fact shown, and we are not responsible for third-party content or services.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intrinsent LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
